I never said I expected the group to win.

It doesn't have enough talent. It needs more talent.

But this idea that there are magical playoff warriors out there, guys who don't do well in the regular season but suddenly turn it on in the playoffs; thats the delusion.

You're right . . . except that's not what we're saying, or at least not what I'm saying. We don't have enough players who combine skill with toughness. Except for Gallagher, our skilled players are mostly soft as butter, and our "tougher" players have zero skill.

Bang on Krusty, excellent post. I dont mind losing to a more talented team , but go down fighting and give it all you have. Our top 6 totally under performed the last 2 playoffs. Our better players were our secondary players. At least play to your ability and produce and show a willingness of compete.
 
The Flyers are about to beat the Caps 2-0 after being outshot 45-11.

The second goal, their 11th shot of the game, was an empty net goal.
 
Heck of a game by Ryan White tonight

Game winner....was on the last minute to protect the lead and take. A huge faceoff.

Happy for him, he's a good guy
