#CBJ have signed D Ryan Murray to a two-year contract, buying one year into his UFA years. Told the deal is $4.5 million this season and $4.7 million in 2020-21.

They had discussed a three-year deal.

The Leafs have acquired Tyson Barrie, Alexander Kerfoot and a 2020 sixth-round pick from the Avs for Nazem Kadri, Calle Rosen and a 2020 third-round pick.

The Avs also retain 50% of Barrie's contract.

But If I was a Leaf fan I like Kadri as my #3 more than Spezza or Kerfoot plus the edge he brings is something they will miss.
