Why does everyone seem to be ignoring that perry did something that was over the line for a team known for protecting a rapist?
 
Yeah… plus Perry isn’t a slam dunk to be useful. The guy will be 39 in a few months…Past Performance Is Not Indicative Of Future Results

Because the rumour is Edmonton? We all know if Toronto was interested it would make national headlines.

Nahh. Adding Perry to your team is a monkey’s paw type of situation.

You get to make it to the finals during his first season with your team, but then you lose once you get there. As demonstrated by Perry’s three consecutive finals losses with three different teams.

Once Edmonton gets to the finals and loses, it’ll be four finals losses in five years with four different teams. Plus one first round loss to the Leafs mixed in there.
