Mogilny was my fave.

I'm all for Wilson.

Remember, I am all in on team asshole.... get rid of Pierre Luc to my original idea.. and add Wilson, Perry, Staal, maybe see if you can pry Kadri away for a reduced price and have him back as 2C with Wilson and JT on the wing. ;)

Comical. An injury prone guy we had for like 2.5 seasons, who put up one very good year, one okay year, and an abortion year with 8 goals. I liked Mogilny but Tavares has provided ten times more value over a longer period of time, and would’ve provided more if not for games lost to Covid.

If PLD’s plan is to go to Montreal and only Montreal, then none of this matters. Is he actually willing to go with another team now?

1C UFA signed in his prime who left money on the table. Has produced in every year of the deal. But let’s complain because year 5 wasn’t as good as year 1 at even strength and we aren’t getting the same value as five years ago. Or…let’s be pretty happy that an expensive signing - which cost us no other assets - is still able to bury 35+ goals late in his deal.
 
If they decided to remove JT's captaincy and gave it to Matthews this summer and couple that with a request to waive his NMC? Plus, like selectively leak it to THIS media. hmmmm, I would think that would do it.
