Even if he went to Tampa, I think Tampa has gotten worse. Tarasenko would not have made much of a difference.

Maybe vasilevsky starts to feel his age a bit. Boston can't repeat that regular season again can they? Lucic is not a difference maker. Montreal will not be good again...Ottawa will be better we'll see. Buffalo yes. And Florida will be worse for sure.

If these guys gel....it could be a good year
 
Boston doesn't even know if Bergeron/Krejci will return, had to let all of their deadline trades walk, and traded out Taylor Hall for cap-space.

Charlie Coyle is their best center right now.

They have some really interesting kids that could easily level them up. Lundell & Luostarinen turning into top 6 guys instead of middle 6 guys sooner rather than later would be a bit scary tbh.

I think the Bolts are the only ones with any capspace left but it's not much - it's about $4m right now with no backup goalie and only 12 forwards. So probably about $3m left for them to sign another forward.

Bruins might have a bit of money left too I guess. They're listed as having about $7m in capspace right now but most of that will get spent on re-signing Swayman and Frederic. So maybe they have a couple mil left after that to sign another forward (of course something stupid like Bergy and Krejci signing league minimum + bonuses deals could still happen).

I forgot the Bolts need to re-sign Jeannott, so that probably takes up all their capspace.

Florida might have a bit more than I thought but probably just a few mil for another forward.
 
Highly doubtful Boston has Bergeron and Krecji walk, and dumps Hall, and doesn't replace them with someone not listed up there.
