Every hockey fan with an internet connection (that includes me) was pretty convinced the Habs should draft Wright in 22 and Mitchkov in 23

Since I know the Habs can afford Internet access, I assume they have strong reasons no to draft the consensus picks….so I will let time unfold to see how their considerable due diligence plays out.

That can actually skate very well, has a pro level shot and needs to adjust to smaller rink. A luxury your "stud" (lol) Robertson had.

And don't try to deny it either. The level of circle jerk on Robertson was funny. It's only recently diminished.

You don't see any Habs fan pumping Slafkovsky even remotely close and he was 1OA.

The best players at 18 tend to be the best players at 22-23 though, especially when they're that well scouted as someone at the top of the draft is.
