Considering the expansion team is conditional on Meruelo getting an area built within the next five years, seems like a pretty safe bet that's a promise the NHL's not going to have to keep.

I questioned if that guy was even serious about an arena. The $ he spent on advertising on that last arena vote kind of showed a lack of desire (Spent 1/10th what "No" side did).
