I actually happened to come across a clip of that crazy comeback against Columbus with 3 minutes left down 3-0.

And then Tavares to Matty for the OT game winner.

I remember thinking at that time that their balls had dropped. They fucking did the impossible and now were going to steamroll the league.

And then they got shut out 2-0 or something like that in the final game.

That was a historical comeback if they win game 5. Only they laid a turd and everyone forgot it.

Don’t understand why their takeaway from that series was that they play the wrong way in the playoffs. They needed a few guys behind the top 4 who could score and they needed one or two guys in the top 6 who doesn’t mind getting cross checked. But they dominated that series. Like, it wasn’t close on the nerdies.
