This is a terirble stain on Gary. How much $ did they flush with this Arizona disaster? Reality is they could have simply left years ago and returned at a later time.
That owner very obviously was not very serious about building an arena. It was never happening.

Agreed but this is bullshit. If they're going to pull this kind of scheduling crap start the season a month earlier and finish in May.

Think he would have been a UFA after this season. At the end of this deal he'll be 29. Seems like a pretty bad deal for Middlestat, but I guess he is hoping to cash in at 29 on a $100+ mill cap.
