feels like they got older, but their window is definitely now and closing, to the extent it is still open...

sorry, they found some fraud, but it was committed by republicans.
 
So if they traded Liljegren and got Markstrom they still wouldn't have been able to afford Roy.

Tldr: They liked Roy but only at the price they wanted to pay.
 
yeah that feels right and i'm glad it didn't happen.

but as for fitting in salary i'm sure the offer included cgy eating some caphit.
 
I assume Calgary wouldn't have retained more than they did with NJ. But sure, maybe the Leafs asked them to eat more.
