Around the League 2019-2024 Edition

He's walking regardless imo.

They win a cup? Mission accomplished.

They don't win a cup? Try elsewhere.

This opinion has the entire history of the Edmonton Oilers franchise backing it up.

It’s actually kind of uncanny. Go down the list of all of their all-time franchise greats, or even lesser players who were considered the star players of their teams during their time in Edmonton—and every single one of them skipped town right around the time they turned 30.

Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, Jari Kurri, Glenn Anderson, Ryan Smyth, Doug Weight.

If either McDavid or Draisaitl commit to staying in Edmonton deep into their 30’s rather than skipping town, they’ll be the first stars in franchise history to do it.

yeah if Keefe gets them to even 105pts he might easily win Adams, even though it's way behind what he did with the leafs, and even though everybody will insist that the Devils are a better built roster than the Leafs.

Yes. You're grown ass men listening to "pundits" that could barely spell their names.
uh that's not really what's going on here though.

we're just (most likely accurately) predicting that now that the Toronto stink is off Keefe, he's suddenly going to be regarded by the league as this top-notch coach. which of course, he never was during his time here. and which is part of a clear trend repeated over many years in this hockey/media landscape
