eh i mean the mccabe trade was way better than this one.

Oh I know. Dubas did a lot of good things. But what I mean is that he traded a lot of picks and they were shit at drafting. They don't have much to trade. But they *could* have done this, as in, they had the assets to do it.

we could have matched this deal no problem.

but it's not exactly an amazing deal - Jones is just ok and even at $7m isn't great value.
