I get the approach but not giving up 1sts for rentals cant be a hill to die on if you want to contend
i mean we hate all the prospects we've drafted with late 1sts.

It's probably the most overated thing in a trade.i mean we hate all the prospects we've drafted with late 1sts.
Laughton isn't even a center.
just wanted to check how he's done since their big trade, because he's been playing fulltime C ever since:
(team has gone 4-4-1 in 9gms)

Cates: 9gms, 5v5 15:14 (+6.7dzs%), 44.9xgf%, 58.6gf%, 2.63p1/60, 2.63p/60, 13.6oish% ---- 5v4 0:38, 0.00p1/60, 0.00p/60 -- SH 1:26

Laughton: 9gms, 5v5 13:49 (-4.3dzs%), 57.1xgf%, 16.1gf%, 0.97p1/60, 0.97p/60, 1.6oish% -- 5v4 2:14, 0.00p1/60, 0.00p/60 -- SH 1:14 --- 54.0fo%
Poehling: 9gms, 5v5 10:27 (+0.0dzs%), 49.4xgf%, 0.0gf%, 0.00[1/60, 0.00p/60, 0.0oish% ---- 5v4 0:11, 0.00p1/60, 0.00p/60 -- SH 1:20
Seems to be handling it fine, though not getting super tough usage.
Obviously the oish% is stupid low but some of that may be him playing different as a C.
has a 54.0fo% on 12.7 draws per game.
I forget, was LoF a late first?i mean we hate all the prospects we've drafted with late 1sts.
