  1. Cale Makar: +18.4
  2. Zach Werenski: +16.2
  3. Lane Hutson: +13.6
Hutson is already a superstar.

Holloway was never a first line forward in Edmonton. He was a 3rd line guy for the most part. He's done well this season but he was never that good with the Oilers and I wouldn't have lost any sleep over not matching that offer sheet.

Broberg, however, was a guy that the Oilers needed to keep. Their blue line is mid on a good night. They have Ekholm, who's great but he's older, gets banged up, and is just one guy. Bouchard is good with the puck, very average without it. Nurse is dead from the neck up, and Kulak is Kulak. Broberg's offer sheet should have been matched because the organization has no one as good in the pipeline. On a team trying to win now, it was stupid to let him go. Holloway? Meh. Forwards like him are easy to replace. But Broberg, not so much.

A team with goaltending as shitty as the Oilers have needs to have excellent defensemen but they don't.

He's gonna have a very hard time getting back up to 100pt rantanen anymore i think. He's never getting those super elite minutes anymore and his per minute production isn't down due to on ice shooting luck either.
