Around the League 2019-2024 Edition

I mean, the last two games were squeakers, so I assume we tired them out since one was just last night, but it's annoying to see Montreal having such an easy time with them.

Matthews is a much, much better goal scorer:

3yr 5v5

Matthews: 1.43 (3rd)
McDavid: 1.11 (14th)

3yr PP

Matthews: 3.78 (4th)
McDavid: 2.39 (35th)

3yr All

Matthews: 1.87 (3rd)
McDavid: 1.44 (11th)

The rankings make them look closer than they really are as well. Matthews is as far ahead as of McDavid (.43 goals per 60 minutes played, all situations) as McDavid is of small logjam at 96th (Kessel, Hayes, Niedereiter, McCann)

The only reason the goal scoring looks close this season is that McDavid has played 100 more minutes (more than half of them on the PP). Matthews leads him 1.94 G/60 to 1.56 G/60 all situations, despite McDavid getting 162 minutes of PP time to Auston's 106 this season.

Want another hilarious example of how bad NHL officiating is?

McDavid's blatant AF elbow tonight got 2 for roughing.

The bigger joke though is going to be when DOPS doesn't suspend him. That's an easy 2 games.
