yeah Dom explicitly mentions playoff refereeing as being a factor. it is what it is at this point but I don't think it makes it suck any less.
 
Good on Dom for adapting. Playoff hockey is mostly boring as shit and physicality becoming more important than skill is often a big reason.

Would be funny if Babushkie is the secret sauce in the playoffs. Big dumb lug who abuses the opposition and never gets called. Maybe that was the plan with him.

Told them I could hide it in a dummy corporation and none would be the wiser, but they told me to stick to hockey and leave it to their legal.

I play right wing even though I'm a left shot!

But I'm pulling a Dryden and not leaving law if I have to play with Kampf. Make it at least Kerfoot and you got a deal!

Kind of incredible that the NHL's most influential modern advancement in the game is throwing out the rulebook for the playoffs...

What bugs me the most is how this is spoken about as if it's just the way things always have been when we just went through an era where skill teams were leading the way.

The league and the game is going backwards.

I think the difference is that things arent let go as often in the regular season now compared to some of the past eras. The playoffs were always a complete gong show. You remember those Sens/Leafs series right?

Knights blow a 2 goal lead in the 3rd period to the Sharks in a must win game, eventually losing in the shootout. Eichel 0 pts -2; he has been awful
