Took long enough.
Yep. The damage has already been done and now the changes look like just something they did to stop the bleeding and get people talking about anything else.Way too long
He had been with them since 1995 Chief Operating Officer and Vice President. New to President's rolle but part of the problem. It’s weird that Scott Smith chose to dig in his heels. Wasn’t he very new to the position? Without baggage, he could have credibly taken the opposite route… full purge with cooperation. But… alas no. He played the insider old boys card and went down with the ship.
Talk about a bad read.
Shane Wright had under 7 minutes of ice time for the Kraken last night.
Neither are NHL ready, that's why.
But Quinn Hughes was a late during his draft year & went back to Michigan his post-draft year. Not the same thing. They may not be but on rebuilding teams what harm is giving them an extra shift on a PP or on top lines
Is Slaf going to kill your PP over a useless Hoffman or past his prime Gally
Its like giving Quinn Hughes 9 minutes without a second on the PP

Neither is only getting 9GP. Francis has already stated Wright’s there for the season - it’s the season opener, these teams have plans in place as the season progresses for these playersAll I am saying is if your intention is to give him 9 games , put him on the second PP unit
I'm not convinced Slaf knows how to play on a PP at this point of his career. As useless as Hoffman can be at 5-5, he's been a PP guy all his life and quite effective at it. Personally I think he should be in the AHL so this is just some bonus games. They may not be but on rebuilding teams what harm is giving them an extra shift on a PP or on top lines
