Around The League - 2024-25 Regular Season

I think he ends up on the second line with Suzuki in 2-3 years. Right now? He's top line no doubt.
There is no way we will have 2 better wingers than him on the team. He might still play in the second line for balance but he’s a first line winger.

How many teams have 2 40+ goals wingers?
That was a fun research.

Tkachuk-Gaudreau did it last year.
Kane-Debrincat before that.
Alfredsson-Heatley
Hossa-Kovalchuk
Naslund-Bertuzzi
Kovalev-Jagr

And that’s pretty much it since 2000. None of those duo won the Cup those seasons.

When Bedard turns out a winger?

Never said he wasn't but he's becoming Suzuki's winger and Suzuki will not be too line center for much longer. Couple of years I think.

There are several prohibitive rules once you do so.

I know the rules. None justify not using it. The Habs immediately traded for Monahan as soon as they knew Price would be on LTIR. There is no way they won’t use that LTIR space again next year.

I would love to have Bedard, and a better center than Suzuki, and a better winger than Caufield. Doesn’t make those guys 2nd liners.

Roy will not score 40. Having 2 40+ goal scorers, especially 2 wingers, is exceedingly rare.
It's going to happen for us. Especially if we win Bedard. Better players make 30 goal scorers 40 goal scorers. Be positive!

Holy shit. What is wrong with hockey fans.

They will be OUR second line. Doesn't make them second liners on shit teams.

Come on now
