Around The League - 2024-25 Regular Season

Yet another team shows that the NHL's "Hockey is for Everybody" campaign is hypocrisy.

The Isles are fine with wearing special warmup jerseys for Hockey Fights Cancer, St. Patrick's Day and, of course Military Night, but Pride? Fuck it. We don't want to piss off the war-mongering Russian Orthodox homophobes.
No need to start a social media topic war involving sexual orientation

What the Isles are doing is fine , the other events have been going on for years

Like I said celebrate with a puck drop , luxury boxes attendants , and charitable donations , etc....

Colored tape, funky jerseys etc... is not necessary

They wear camouflage jerseys for military night and green jerseys for St. Patrick's Day. They can damn well wear the rainbow jerseys for Pride Night. If they aren't necessary than neither are the camos and the greens.

Gord Miller hit the nail on the head when he was a guest on the Melnick show.

interesting, the only people who seem to be complaining are straight white guys on twitter. It seems to me our LGBTQIAP+++ brothers/sisters and thems have bigger fish to fry than whether a player wears a rainbow jersey to virtue signal or not.

And Krusty told me “so much for the new coach bump” after Tocchet’s 1st game as coach…

That’s a 4 wins in a row..
