Was about to write that but you beat me to it. He was probably coached to do that, and told that refs will look for any excuse to call a penalty against the opposition if Leafs down by a goal late. Its a wonder they didn't call it, like they did with the call to Maroon, which wasn't an infraction either.

Anyway, it didn't take long for me to work up a distaste for Knies.
