Around The League - 2024-25 Regular Season

I would have liked to have seen more offensive push from Florida in the third, but they survived the Leafs onslaught. Bobrovsky obviously was great, but Samsonov as well made several key stops in the second especially, which would have put the game away.
 
I only watched the end of the game , against my better judgment, cause Leafs always seem to score when I tune in.....but appparently Bobrovsky stole the game.
 
Anthoney Duclair, whom I always thought was a bit of a brain dead player, surprised me with a strong defensive third period. Granted, I have not seen him play much for years.
 
If they lose in 4 that would be the chef's kiss but I'd also be happy to watch them lose at home in game 5 so their fans can toss jerseys on the ice again. Whichever option provides me with the greatest amount of schadenfreude.
 
Kevin Bieska has turned into quite the Leafs fan. Probably always was. He was pouting after the game, talking about this was a very positive outcome for the Leafs in the third because they showed "great offense".

They lost, Kevin.
 
Again, Nylander outshone Marner and Matthews. Maybe not so much in the Tampa series, but often a pattern in the playoffs....
 
I never really liked Max, just because he is Tie's son and also acted like a goof at times. I think he's a bit more mature now.
