The people of Guatemala once elected a President who wanted to end US ownership of the Guatemalan economy and was very popular with his own people. The United Fruit Company wasn't having it so the CIA bombed it from unmarked planes and installed a pro-US dictator who brutalized his own people for fun and profit.

It was only a matter of time before the US would use such methods on themselves. Hence January 6th.

The last time the US was in a fair fight was WW2 and to a lesser extent and only by accident, in Korea when MacArthur stupidly provoked the Chinese into entering the war. Otherwise the only military entanglements the US participates in are against enemies they know they can beat. Even then, they don't always win (Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq)

But hey, they kicked ass in Grenada! Clint Eastwood even made a movie about it.

haha we are just getting old Waz, that is all, I was 26 when we last won, now I am 56, I wasn't married, now I am married 28 years, my dad was alive and in his sixties, my mom is now 92, my son is 19 and I am on my second dog.

It is ancient history now
