I looked more carefully. It’s 14M for 10 players. I’m not sure how such a top heavy salary structure buys any kind of UFA flex unless someone goes.

Multiple sources close to the team said that Shanahan had blocked transactions that Dubas wanted to make at key points in the past several seasons, creating frustration in parts of the management group. Lou Lamoriello comes to mind. And the Leafs can probably pay Gorton more than what Geoffrey is paying. But I'm not saying he's leaving. I was just wondering if it would interest him on some level.
