I paid a scalper $250 for a pair of seats to Game 6 of the 94 finals at the Pacific Coliseum. As I recall, that was the first time I noticed that Ticketmaster was increasing the prices for each successive playoff round. But in 1994, the most expensive seat for a Canucks regular season game was $40 so the increases weren't that bad.

In Montreal the playoff prices used to be about $4 more than regular season prices and it didn't matter if it was the opening round or the finals. Today tickets to sporting events sell like airline tickets. The guy sitting next to you may have paid $100 more ot less than you did depending on when he bought it or how many times it changed hands before he bought it.

Ranking players is very subjective when the game is so different from decade to decade or era

Players wont score 200 points now with elite goaltending and the hard cap where teams would be decimated like Edmonton

Yup, I do have some bias for the players I grew up with.

That being said, I think top 20 is fair as I've been thinking about it. First 5 seasons Ovy was phenomenal.
