Man has Gally ever fallen off a cliff, from 30 goal scorer a few years ago to a throw in for a trade for Dzingel! The KHL beacons I suppose; if Gally couldn't get it going on a good Pittsburgh team last year, I cannot see him getting back on track with a good Canes team this year.
On a different note, I see that James Neal is on waivers. Even if the Habs had the cap space, I would not be hoping that they would put in a claim
Guess they think he might getting going again playing with Matthews / Marner or Tavares. No risk, possible high reward if he can get going. If not, his contract expires at the end of the season and Gally can enjoy the KHL
