I don't know if he'll be good or not.

But he's a former first rounder and I liked him a lot in his draft year, but his career's been slowed down significantly due to injuries.

We're a bottom feeder and our forward depth sucks. If we pick him up and it doesn't work, he goes to Laval and we cut him loose at the end of the season. There's literally no risk.

(Also, I'm biased, I watch the Q significantly more than other Junior leagues)

I'm a strong proponent of picking up highly touted prospects that don't end up working out in their initial franchise, especially if we're on a bad team.

I'd probably pick up one of them every single season, regardless of how good/bad my team is.
