He has had many chances to play but not much last season (just 12 meh games). He has not stepped up.

Don't net his okay point totals in a small sample size fool you. He is still a bottom pair guy. A left handed Barron. Not even faulk has been able to carry him to good advanced stats.

The Oilers should have signed him to the 1.7m or whatever he was asking but he is definitely not worth 4.5m.

Both should have been extended to 2-3 years on the cheap rather bring all these vets at bigger coin
