Where is the puke reaction when you need it

Well now I skimmed it. Are you referring to the essay where he said that a person may prefer to live in Winnipeg over Toronto? Is that supposed to be the reasonable bit?
Yeah, there are likely a small minority of people who prefer Winnipeg, that is reasonable

How very Toronto-centric of you. It may shock you, but living in Toronto isn't the end-all, be-all for everyone. Berube is from Calahoo, Alberta, not Caledon, Ontario, and he's part native. He may well prefer to live on the prairies over the big smoke, and the metric for what constitutes "success" in Winnipeg is likely a lot more realistic than what expectations are in Toronto. Also, while MLSE has a net worth of about $8 billion, Jets owner David Thomson's net worth is north of $35 billion so if the Jets want to outbid the Leafs they can do it (not that I think they'd bother for Berube, but still. They aren't the Little Sisters of the Poor)
I think he lives in New York as I heard yesterday on the radio (Didn't know). Probably wanted New Jersey.

I gotta say McLellan comes out looking better than I thought. Seems like he's generally had a positive impact analytics wise.

Also interesting that his tenures have all been pretty lengthy, and that this year is the first year he was fired midseason ever. This might mean that the players really like him, or it might mean he's good at front office politics, or it might mean both.
