Yeah, Tavares and Ullmark are totally the same that you have to pull him in and hate on him when the subject is a potential goalie acquisition who has next to no playoff experience at age 31 and the limited experience he has yielded unplayable numbers.

If you believe the Sens are being asked for Forsberg, 1st and Chychrun for Ullmark one should run very far.

But I'd rather give up that package for Ullmark than Tavares, for whatever that is worth.
 
Yeah, I have no interest in Ullmark at that price fwiw. 1st and stuff (as Presto mentioned, the Kuemper package) is pretty much top value imo)
 
It would be very Sennatty to gift Ottawa Chychrun for a goalie think they are contending away from, and pay that goalie, after paying Korpisalo last year, and Murray before that.

No, your issue is with his contract.

23 goals and 23 assists in 62 playoff games, plus all the other stuff (faceoffs, etc.) is not a playoff flop or shit.

But .887 for a goalie means you're unplayable and a guaranteed loss in most games.

There is a world of difference there, if it even made sense to compare a forward to a fucking goalie in the first place.

That said Willy had played at a 40 goal 80 point pace in the playoffs over the last 4 years so he has been light years better than Tavares and is far more likely to earn the money, at least for the next few years.

He definitely hasn’t massively flopped into a second liner every April.

Well this year wasn’t pretty for anyone really, though Willy had a few goals in the half series he played. But if you want to focus on more recent, Tavares was 7/7/14 in 18 games over the prior two, 64% on faceoffs, 58 shots, hardly a massive flop.
 
Willy had a concussion and came back to score 3 goals in game 6 and 7. He was our only good player.

Tavares on the other hand. Massive flop.
