I was on that train before. And I still do think he'll be selective. But I think he definitely works with the Leafs to find a new home. Don't think he'll be stubborn enough to stay at all costs where he's not wanted. He has some pride.

- Kadri 5/35 left owning until he's 38, and Weegar has 7/43.75 left until he's 36

It's almost 37 million less in commitments and on the younger player of the 3 long term contracts.

They're a thing but also Rielly and Tavares suck and the other two are very good.

Except neither actually suck. Even in my worst criticism of Tavares I have never claimed he sucked. Both are limited, but when used within their limitations are pretty good players. We have higher aspirations though. "Pretty good" in key roles for a combined 18.5 million isn't really what we're going for.
