Completely irrational unhinged behavior to doubt the significance of the illness. But sports fandom is all about emotions so I don't necessarily blame folks for that one. This isn't Freddy Andersen suddenly getting hurt at every big moment in every season. This hasn't happened to him before and if you're wondering why it hasn't happened much to anyone, well there's a virus that does this to people that wasn't around when Sid or Wayne were winning cups. I thought that was obvious but I guess not. We've seen this happen in other sports during playoffs anyway.
