It’s not even close to the worst team in NHL history and you know it.
The ravaged team on Covid and major injuries was barely AHL caliber
Dom was useless but we barely had 6 NHL caliber players in the lineup and you know it
I thought you meant current roster/lineup.

St.Louis is 8-5-1 with the same roster. Ducharme was 8-30-7.
What same roster ?
Dum had 12-14 guys out at one time , half of Laval was up
All I am saying is Dum had absolutely decimated rosters

At one time yes, but he still wasn't winning with a similar or even healthier lineup than this one.
St.Louis barely got to use Toffoli.
Drouin, Savard and Dvorak haven't played a game yet under St.Louis.
Allen hasn't started for St.Louis
Sure there was a stretch of 2-3 weeks where we were scraping the bottom of the barrel but DD wasn't able to win with a similar quality lineup as this one.
Look no further than Caufield 17 points in 14 games under St.Louis vs 13 points in 40 games under DD.
I think a key difference too is the players are actually turning up to play, they're more energised and enthused. Whatever DD was doing, it was broken - be it screwed up system nobody could get, badly utilising Caulfield so his confidence and play was shot...whatever it was it going nowhere.
St Louis has changed the dynamic for basically the same core. Who knows if that carries forward more than short-term.
That said, I feel I'll always despise Petry now for his blatantly obvious 'I' don't give a f' about the jersey I'm wearing' crap play

I really wanted to like DD but it was obvious that something was off. Perron’s vibe was glaring. I never hated Petry for speaking up, it took some courage and leadership to do so, and was sadly vilified for it.
