Le Nouveau Duluth enjoyed an incredible reputation on Tripadvisor – raising questions over online reviews

It sounds like a pale imitation of something that happened 5 years ago....where a fake restaurant in London, England was tagged as number 1 in the city, but the tricksters behind that put some work into it, including pictures of a backyard dining area, a website and a voice mail that kept affirming they were fully booked.

And they eventually "opened" for one night, serving up microwaved lasagna (and other crap) to some rave reviews!!

Man created a fake restaurant and it became the #1 restaurant in London

Vice presenter Oobah Butler fake backyard restaurant became number 1 on Trip Advisor without it ever existing.

Well I’m disappointed. Was gonna inflate the inner tube and take the kids to that beach which appears to be in the Plateau.
