Stuck in Mexico for an extra day and a half bc snow. Hoping to catch Finland Canada at the airport.

Yeah it was rough. Unless you get hit by a bus, dying isn't an event but a process. A long, agonizing process. My dad took about 3 or 4 days to get there, and the process was nearly as brutal for us who had to watch helplessly as it was for him, laboring to breathe, hungry but unable to eat, thirsty but unable to drink or swallow, his skin taking on the look of wax as his organs slowly shut down and his blood pooled underneath him.
Do yourselves a failure. Write up a will with precise instructions about how you want to go or be sent off this earth. My dad had a DNR order but he didn't leave any instructions which would have made it possible for us to help end his agony sooner.

i mean if all Marner is going to do is play defense anyways then he deserves to play on the checking line.
same goes for Matthews too. all they do here is cover and backcheck.

I will say the mcdavid-marner combo doesn't make a ton of sense on paper and wasn't working offensively.
Point should give more downlow and netfront and shooting presence in general on that line, while Marner should be able to be much more puck dominant and offensively creative with these linemates.
Not sure forcefeeding the Mack-Sid combo is helping with the line combos but i get why they're doing it i guess.

Yeah, that was the problem against the Americans....it was that we didn't immediately set the tone by beating people up and scoring our only goal of the game.
I fucking hate NHL coaches, they have one logic setting.
