Literally no one in the hockey media universe was saying that in the off season. They were the newest team that was either neck and neck with Toronto or ahead of them in their respective rebuilds, etc.
 
Could easily have called that little trip on Nylander in our slot there if they were so inclined, but we must have parity.

These last 2yrs were always going to be the toughest - the 2yrs in between having elite talent on ELCs.
