GDT: Canes @ Rangers 4/26 7:00

Not too happy about letting the Rangers score those last two goals, but it's hard to feel anything but ecstatic about the way this team played tonight and over the past 5 games. Let's win one more in front of the home crowd, but at least we know the Canes are no longer limping into the playoffs.

Canes stay ahead of the Rangers and Flames (who’ve given up 4 to Nashville as I type this) in the race for the Jennings Trophy.

The Canes will not practice or hold media availability tomorrow. So we won’t find out about Andersen’s status until Thursday.

Rags play an extra game so that will be hard for them to win that now.
Yep, the Canes are 2 goals better than the Rangers and 3 better than Calgary. The Flames have 2 left too, against the Wild and Jets. As long as they don’t poop the bed on Thursday, it’s a franchise first, Andersen’s 2nd.

The nhl,is gonna have to do something. They can’t have 2 southern teams from the East in the playoffs And 2 of them are conference winners.

Revenge of the Southeast Division. The Southeast Division has won the last 2 Cups and 3 of the last 4. Both division winners in the Eastern Conference came from the Southeast and 4 of the 5 teams made the playoffs.
