GDT Game 26: @ Seattle, Tuesday, December 6, 10:00 PM EST

I’ve noticed they play up to their competition to a point. There are six or seven teams that these guys just can’t skate with.
And there are a bunch of teams that are between 8 and 20 that they seem to hang ok with.
Should be fun to see where they end up.
And with likely three firsts in a deep draft?
Things look good for at least one home run this draft. Fleece someone at the deadline for a pick. Trade a second to fill a hole.
Suzuki, Koala and Goonie are a core that echoes of Towes Kane and Keith.
This team needs to develop a habit of swinging for the fences.
I want home run players not bases on balls.
Habs need to find a Guhle / Caufield in the middle of the upcoming draft… since that’s where both their & Fla picks are going to end up! 😎

But it’s ok for McDavid to steal games right? Just checking…

yes...that's a feature, not an act of divine madness

perspective -- goalies will steal games for (and against) us....but I think our keepers have exceeded expectations thus far. nobody expected the tandem to give us better than average save percentage

Just maybe … expectations incorporated unjustified recency bias & are full of shit

Allen’s .895 sv % is well below his career .910

anyway, never mind, because after a hot start, Montembo has cooled off and our save % is in fact, below average

It's a good strategy, so we can get Suzuki, Caufield and Bedard/Fantilli on three separate lines next year.
