Count is around my age which means he's seen at least 9 since childhood not counting his first 3 years of life.

I think he's referring to just how much you let this affect you. You'd think you were A Leafs fan.
 
I’m in the same place and will be happier if they make the playoffs than if they get Beddard. And no. I’m not stupid. I have a different point of view than you Brad. It is just as valuable intelligent and impactful as yours

The issue is Bradley is jaded in the improper way. He thinks they have to do this, that and the other to succeed where we're just aholes that make fun of shit that bugs us to get by, it adds enjoyment for me.

We all want the Habs to succeed

However , team needs more talent and high end skill

You get that with high picks , team is desperate for ping pong luck

Team has been spinning their wheels for decades , time to develop the core and move on

A few more years of pain and the team should be fine

Other teams are aging or will be in retool mode by that time

Patience is needed not waving pom poms for moral victories and be in the dreaded middle

The year is going to plan ......entertaining , youth development , and more losses

a "few" more? ffs by then you and others will want Nick and Cole traded and the process starts all over. A few more yrs and we are Buffalo.

I have no expectations for this year but next yr I expect a legit attempt to make the playoffs.

There are maybe 6-8 players from this current roster to move forward with

Roster is far from complete , keep building and then then lets compete to move through the playoffs

After 20 years of chicken shit , chicken salad isnt made overnight

Habs will be fine , cant run marathons before you can walk

be honest, would you pay huge money for season's tickets knowing the team was not even trying to be competitive for another "few years"?

and I swear you stated we need just one more draft, now it is a "few"... You move the goal posts more than the assholes in public health with the "just two more weeks" stuff in 2020

Its simple when Huugo took over

This is a 3-5 fucken year rebuild science project minimum , if it goes well

Team needs one more kick ass draft this year to get more assets in the funnel

They are entertaining and competing this year , this isnt the DD team that quit.

I couldnt give a shit about the season ticket holder who has money to burn , you dont like it spend your money elsewhere

The majority are suits , they couldnt name 4 players on a roster getting drunk in the lounge.

There is no quick fix here , this isnt the NFL where the cap rules , draft and true free agency allows you to retool overnight

A little more patience and this team will be competitive , waited 20 years for a regime with a brain .
