They fucked up so many times at drafting and trading and handed out shit contracts

Like I said if managed well the Habs wouldnt need more than 3-5 years
 
I don't pass on talent like Michkov. If we're picking 7 and he's there? I make the pick all day long. That's a special talent and HuGo will focus out how to get him over in 3 years, just in time to win the cup.
 
Depends entirely where we pick. I think there's a very good chance it's Bedard, Fantilli, Carlsson in that order for 1-2-3.

Will Smith has been rising a lot, but I've never seen him play, just have a scouting report. He's interesting.

If we're picking at 5, I'm not sure I take Michkov. At 7 or later, though, if he's still there I think that's a no-brainer.

We could have a kick ass even without a too 2 pick. We might very well have 3 first round picks, maybe 4.

I think the regime likes Anderson. There a lot to be desired for me where he is concerned but he does play a physical game with speed and is a disruptor.

Point? It'll take an offer that blows them away IMHO.
