GDT | Game 40 | vs Canuckleheads | Monday, January 6th | 7:30 PM EST ** Only on Prime **

17 points in last 17 games, +1, playing 23 minutes per game on first pair and PP, on a team that is currently winning and playing a major role in it. It's close.
I don't really care about the winning team argument. Especially for the Calder.

Agreed that hutson has been closing the gap.

Being a core contributor to a winning team that wasn't winning without you is definitely an argument. That being said, the Sharks are also winning more with Macklin than without him.

I'm sure ppl can make that argument. But I won't. There is no debate like most valuable with this award.

Even if I take that isn't account. Does passing the puck to caufield and Suzuki instead of 8 point will Smith and some other guy I've never heard of cancel out the winning team stuff.

The best player rookie shouldn't be punished for being on a worse team imo.

Habs weren't a great team and were in the cellar with SJ. Hutson has made incredible passes to guys not named Caufield and Suzuki that were flubbed and that happens often (see Gallagher last night). He could have far more points.

The same argument can be made man.

The question then becomes, would you trade Hutson for Celebrini? I imagine the responses would vary greatly which means they're on par with each other.

Love hutson but it is celebrini by a mile.
Are you serious , Hutson has carried our D all year on a 160 pound frame

Team is in a wildcard spot and nobody had us winning shit ....he is a big part once he took over the PP

Unless Celebrini explodes in the second half how do you not give it to Hutson if the numbers are close

Celebrini is awesome but FFS what the midget is doing is fucken crazy

Its a no brainer Celebrini 7 days a week but for this Calder race Lane is the front runner

You cany bypass a franchise center who is a mix of Scheiffle and McKinnon
