Monty has a .900 save percentage. He’s about as average as you can get.

First goal was a good shot but played the 2-1 too deep expecting the pass.
2nd was a hard one for any goalie.
3rd, over committed, that’s on him, but also a breakaway.
4th was weak, looked like it was deflected, not sure.
5th weak as well, a bit of a knuckleball but still
6th all alone in front

The Monty bashing here is a bit exaggerated.....the team in front of him stopped skating...we still had a 3-2 lead going into the third period

Was Monty great....no.....but we didn't score another goal and allowed Leafs to walk freely into our zone all of the 3rd period.....that's not on Monty

Also, Leafs will not win a Cup with this team....impossible.....they are too flawed....
