Sure, but frankly who cares? Their formula can't be replicated year over year. Philly's going to end up in the league basement next year because their team sucks as it's currently constructed. Same for the Habs. Suzuki & Matheson had career years, Caufield had a good statistical year but a down year overall, Slaf's come out of his shell, and yet, we're going to end up at the same spot as a year ago.

the players, media and probably a majority of fans think more about short term success than sustainability ....so the narratives shouldn't surprise anyone

I'm not as certain as you...that's why I tune in. So I can see what happens. Sports are more fun if you don't think you're going to be right 97% of the time

It's the best year of his career so far. Happy? I didn't think I needed to include the "so far", considering his career isn't over and he's still playing.

You, however, say "sounds like you think" when I clearly wrote my thoughts and your form of understanding is... I'm not quite sure, honestly. Then you have Krusty who needs an extra two words added to my sentence, because apparently I wasn't clear enough.

I’m not happy or unhappy about how you phrase things. In fact, I don’t care at all. You thought he was a 60 point center, max. I don’t think so. And as his linemates get better, his output should too.
