Yeah, he's been a great add so far. Solid veteran D who's willing to sacrifice the body. And such a big improvement on Ranger and Fraser.

It's looking like a heckuva trade. Not that Gleason is necessarily a better overall player than Liles, but the way this defense is constructed, we had absolutely no need for JML. And all kinds of need for what Gleason brings.

it isn't just that he's wiling to block shots. it's that he clears the net, and he lets his goalie sees shots, and he knows how to break up the cycle and he knows how to start the rush without just throwing it to the other team or icing it.

McSelke did a solid job grinding that last shift out, but this is a different team with Bolland in there. Will be great to get him back soon.

Getting another vet like Gleason who just makes good plays will be huge.
