I don't think it has any impact on that at all.
I don't like it.Not for both picks. Just #37 maybe.
if you want four under 6'0 on the top two lines, go for it,

A little pricy but could pay off. Your picks have to pan out, Newhook has shown he can play in this league already, just needs to improve. Very similar to the Dach deal. Accelerated rebuild as Newhook is a few years ahead of our prospects. Like was said, I don't think size is an issue here.
Michkov is at least 3 years away and . . . Newhook isn't necessarily a top 6 forward. Maybe he'll be a good 3rd line center eventually.
