Second would be niceAt least a second. Maybe a late first.
Kovy is 6 inches taller and 50 pounds heavier , Carrier has to work harder to compensate for his smallish frameHard to get worked up about this trade, either way. With luck ,Carrier will be as good as Kovacevic. Barron has not shown he has the hockey IQ to be anything more than a 5-6 guy at max. Can't really blame the Habs brass at this point if he indeed finds his way to being more.
tons of draft capital to use at the 2025 draftHabs looking good pick wise. Gotta use some for trades. They need to start stocking up for 26 and 27.

They wanted Dipshit to seize the moment …oooopsStill don't understand why they just gave Kovacevic away. Bad move.

Maybe they thought his next contract was too rich

Big RHD some team may give him the Savard contract 3.5x4Dude was sitting in press box every 3rd game last season. He’s simply having a career contract season… good on him, but some team will regret the UFA overpayment
DR you meanThey wanted Dipshit to seize the moment …oooops
Wanted to make some room for Reinbacher, Mailloux and/or Barron.
Also at the time they still had Harris.
Bad move in retrospect.
Because, as Snake Boisvert asserted a year ago, Mailloux is, at best, a 6-7 defenseman in the NHL.If Savard and Carrier are healthy then maybe it’s just Guhle who had to play on his off side. The issue will be if/when Savard is traded. Maybe they call up Mailloux, but he ain’t exactly lightning the AHL on fire.
Redenbacher would’ve been an early call up from Laval if he continued the same as he left off at the end of last season in AHL. Dipshit’s show me bridge contract last summer was exactly that - show the org what you can do & you are worth keepingDR you mean
FI is never wrong. Just ask usDon't really care what Boisvert, or any other pundit, thinks tbh. They're wrong far more than right yet people only point to the right guesses.
