Subban said his pre-game coffee acts as a catalyst in his stomach, then he holds it in until game time so he can fart on the ice. Great.

And Subban chose the most popular show in Quebec on which to make this admission. The man is a natural showman. #fartypants

Tinordi's developement will be better playing 40-50 NHL games and practicing day in and day out with NHLers rather than big minutes in the AHL

Yeah, that helped out Ryan O'Byrne's career... playing 50 games in the NHL too fast.

Ryan O'Byrne was never good enough to be an NHLer...he has size and skated ok for a man his size but not much else

Tinordi is a 1st rounder with much more upside.

Ray Ferraro indirectly said that Tinordi should go back to AHL....no reason to rush the kid....no one will remember that we sent him back to AHL 4 years from now when he'll be a regular for us

Let's be honest, the game is too fast for him right now....he got burned by AHL'ers during preseason....he's how old, 21-22 ??? Usually, top 3 dmen make the league that young.....let the kid regroup in the AHL

On the other side, if you want the kids to adjust to NHL speed, he has to play in the NHL. He won't adjust to it in the AHL.

HE better be careful, his teammates might nickname him skid.

He's not a fast skater like Subban....average skaters are better left in the AHL to progress. It'll be suicide leaving him here....the game is just too fast for him right now. He did good in the playoffs 2 years ago because the game slows down more in the playoffs (refs allow a bit more hooking).

But in the regular season, he looks exposed...

Now if he was a fast skater, I would agree with you about leaving him in the NHL....because speed allows you to make up for screw-ups.....and although Beaulieu sucks on the defensive end, his skating more than make-ups for it.

BTW, I hope they let Beaulieu play through the growing pains...HE WILL FOOK-UP ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS....but his offensive talent is so high, that you gotta let the kid play through it...no sense in trying to make him a stay-at-home dmen....let him fly up the ice with the puck....we need more points from the back-end !!!

Conor McKenna: Bob McKenzie on Habs moving Travis Moen: "I wouldn't count on it."

_____

So, looks like we'll go with:

Pacioretty - Desharnais - Parenteau
Galchenyuk - Plekanec - Gallagher
Bourque - Eller - Sekac
Prust - Malhotra - Weise
(Bournival/Moen)

Emelin - Subban
Markov - Gilbert
Beaulieu - Weaver
(Tinordi)

Price
Tokarski

More like, we need to find a desperate team who would take Moen. He brings nothing anymore. I'd rather have bournival than him in the lineup.
