The players are just a means to an end for me. I care about the team above all and I care about players only in so far as they can help the team win. Once they can no longer do that, or are dealt away to some other team, or retire, I don't care if they live or die. Monahan's career earnings are close to $50 million US so once he is traded for a first round pick I couldn't care less what happens to him. He'll be fine.
