I doubt Price needs the WJHC and Olympics to get into HOF.....

For the better part of a decade, every NHL player poll named him the best goalie.....that means even when other goalies were winning Cups and Vezina awards, his peers still voted him the best goalie in the world.....

The HOF panel will vote Price into the HOF in his first year of eligibility.

Crosby, Ovechkin, and most of the top players of his era named him the best goalie.....he's a first ballot HOF
 
Carey Price will easily get in on his first year of eligibility.

If Carey Price was a pure-laine Québécois, I get the feeling our dear Bertrand would be singing a whole other tune.

For the HHOF it certainly is rubbish. And letting in scores of underserving players into the Hall like the aforementioned Tin Man, makes it possible for someone to make a case for just about anyone to be inducted.

Price not winning a Cup is, however, why his number should never be retired by the Habs. The 2 criteria for that honor are A) Hall of Famer and B) won at least one Cup as a Hab. You retire Price's number and he sticks out like a sore thumb. He will be the only one up there who doesn't meet both criteria.

We get to hammer him early, use our big guys to drive him hard into the board, teach him this is a man's game

We play out here on March 21 and then in Seattle on March 24. Right in the middle of the 1st weekend of the NCAA tournament 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
