Same. As a progressive I fundamentally believe that once you do the time required based on what the law state’s no punishment more is necessary. In fact, the extrajudicial punishments for LM that assholes like Arpon have called for are both vindictive and excessive.
The point of the justice system is to reform and rehabilitate people who commit crimes, with the goal of full reintegration in society such that they don’t commit crimes again.
Unfortunately no amount of punishment will make a victim feel better.
Arpon is a leftist Old Testament regressive.
