Habs Season Thread: 2024-25 Regular Season

I think they all play in MTL at some point next season....(especially after we trade Savard at the deadline) as we got to sort them out

Also, I expect the unexpected with Hughes. Some young dude we like will get traded

If Habs are in hunt for playoff spot I don’t think Savard gets traded, he’ll simply be viewed as a deadline acquisition
 
If Reinbacher and Mailloux start in Laval we may need to sign a RHD veteran to hold down the fort. Then Savard likely gets moved at the deadline or when Reinbacher is called up.

LM maybe 20-30 games next year max.; DR, maybe half a year or more; LH starts in Montreal and then we'll see.

The only old vet I'd be willing to pay big money to get would be Crosby.

Players have no interest coming to Montreal unless its your final albatross contract on the cap

Our young D show no fear , no need for more vets

Habs had4- 5 rookies in the lineup at times

We need to move our young D just to be able to fit all the young D that needs to play, I don't us adding a vet D. We need to get rid of bodies, not acquire new ones.
